Akim

This is Akim. I wanted to show him in the snow confronting the giant Walrus (Moby Dick). This still needs a lot of work, but it's what I have so far. Any suggestions would be great.

  1. hey dora, i really like the expression of the character's face and the color palette. The thing that bothers me is the arms. i feel it is too parallel. and the type of cloth for his left arm looks different from the right arm.

    I hope this helps,
    Henry

  3. hi Dora..
this is looking good..the colors..the face.. I would like to see more story by playing with the positions and poses of his hands..they are both clinched (just like my character) which would be great to add more life to our poses. You really got the blizzard feeling..which is great..also you didnt you blacks which i definitely can learn from.

  4. Thanks for the suggestion Miles. I will reconsider his other arm and try to make it more interesting.
Yea, I really tried to stay away from using really dark darks in the piece. :)
